The following are general instructions for the procedures at the Treasure Coast Surgical Center.

1.) Nothing to eat or drink after 12:00 A.M. (MIDNIGHT).
2.) Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home.
3.) It may be necessary to stop blood thinners (such as Aspirin, Coumadin, Plavix, etc). Follow your doctor's instructions.
4.)You may take blood pressure, heart or seizure medications with a small sip of water as early as possible the morning of your exam.
5.) Please make arrangements to have a responsible adult companion to drive you home.
6.) You will not be permitted to drive for 24 hours after the procedure due to anesthesia medications.
Clear liquid diet consists of: Water, jello (no reds), broth, black tea/coffee, juice (no pulp), no milk or dairy products! Soda is okay.
